We are off to Center Parcs on Monday. Can’t wait! We’ve been lots of times before, but never get bored in fact we have booked to go next March too.
I have made a ginger bread house today, not assembled yet though and that’s the tricky part as it completely collapsed last time. I’ve used a different recipe this time and the gingerbread has set much harder and tastes gorgeous. the recipe is on The BBC Good food website. We are intending on making it into a haunted house to take on holiday, last Christmas the house definitely looked haunted. We have lots of sweets to decorate it with and we are going to add Scoobydoo figures.
Whilst I’m thinking about BBC Good food mag, this month there is a free recipe book, I made the chocolate brownies and they were divine and so were the homemade burgers. We swapped the beef mince to lamb and the rest of the familys verdict was that they were the best burgers they had ever tasted – a definite hit! i’m going to make the brownies again tomorrow to take away with us and might do the burgers again on bonfire night.
