I really must say a big thankyou to the lady at the checkout at Marks and Spencers today! A little embarassing perhaps, but hey, how often does a 39 year old women get asked for ID to prove her age in order to buy a bottle of Champagne? So “THANKYOU!”
I didn’t have any ID, but I was allowed to buy it because she decided that I did actually look about 25. Yippee!!
I’m not normally found to be buying Champagne, but it was half price and it’s hubbys birthday tomorrow.
I’m off to stock up on the anti wrinkle moisturiser I bought from Lidl last week, it works miracles and only cost £1.99.
