Hopefully, according to my phone, today is going to be sunny. We are going to one of our favourite National Trust properties – Fountains Abbey in Ripon.
If you have never been before, it’s definitely worth a visit, as it’s stunning.
You could easily spend a full day there, with plenty to do for all ages. If it does rain there’s a lovely café and National Trust shop to shelter in.
We are lucky in our area, in that there are quite a few National Trust properties to visit – well worth £9 per month for our family membership.
