I was like a child at Christmas, when an intriguingly large box arrived from Prestige Hampers! I had agreed to review a hamper from their luxury range and I was excited to see what delights the hamper would contain.
On opening the box, I was surprised to see that the hamper contents were contained in a “crate-like” wooden sturdy box with a lid. The box is decorated in wood grain effect and has Prestige Hampers stencilled to the front. I have already decided that the box will be perfect for our Christmas Eve box! Which is a tradition started by my son, where I buy everyone in the family a new pair of pyjama’s to wear on Christmas Eve, along with a few festive treats.
Anyway, back to the hamper. On removing the box lid, I was delighted to see that the contents were attractively and safely nestling in brown shredded paper, which contrasts nicely with the wood-grain box. I visited Prestige Hampers website to see which of their hampers I had received. I discovered it was the Christmas Sky hamper. RRP £69.99

Christmas is all about treats and although I wouldn’t normally buy most of the contents in the hamper, it’s good to try something a little different. I am particularly looking forward to tasting the French Goats Cheese and Black Pepper Popcorn and all of the chocolates! As my son is allergic to nuts, we will donate some of the items to friends and family. I’m sure they will be happily received!
I am definitely considering buying a Prestige hamper for relatives who live far afield. I have an 84 year old Uncle, who I’m sure would appreciate the hamper we have reviewed (although not this one – as already consumed!). It’s so convenient to be able to send the hamper straight to the gift recipients door. Some of the hampers contain alcohol, some don’t and some even contain smoked salmon and Christmas crackers! The range is so diverse it’s easy to choose for individual tastes.
