Last week a beautiful bouquet of red roses were delivered from Prestige Flowers. I had agreed to review flowers from their luxury range – perfect for Valentine’s Day.
The flowers arrived via Royal Mail and were intriguingly presented in a large cardboard box.
On opening the box I was really happy to see that the 12 roses were in perfect condition and the deep red was accentuated by gold and dark green foliage. They were stunningly wrapped in pink tissue.
Nestled in the box was a box of chocolates, greeting card and a very cute teddy bear – a lovely surprise!
Usefully the flowers arrive with a leaflet on how to care for them. I followed the instructions by trimming the stems and adding flower food to my vase of water. I’m really glad I took the time, because a week later the flowers are still looking fresh.
I apologise for the fact that my flower arranging skills are not great! The flowers were lovely and I had lots of complementary comments about them from visiting family.
The chocolates were divine and were a lovely mix of unusual flavours such as raspberry with chilli and lemon. I would have photographed the contents of the chocolate box, however they were consumed too quickly!
As for the teddy bear, he was quickly smuggled upstairs by my daughters, to their bedroom!
So ladies and gentlemen if you would like to buy your loved ones a luxury bouquet for valentine’s Day I definitely recommend Prestige Flowers.
