As a blogger I find that most of the gifts and products I review are for other members of the family – particularly the kids! This is as it should be and they have had the opportunity to try out some amazing things. We have worked with Wicked Uncle on a couple of occasions in reviewing the fantastic gift ideas they have for children and teens. Wicked Uncle have now launched a new range of products, which are ideal gifts for big kidz!
So here is where I come in, could Wicked Uncle have products that I would like for myself?
The Wicked Uncle website is very easy to navigate, everything is handily categorized into age and gender. You can even view toys that are suitable for people who are outdoorsy, adventurous, brainiac or creative. As long as you know a little bit about the person you’re buying for you really can’t go wrong!
I spent a lovely half an hour searching for items that I would buy for myself. There were so many I had to narrow my choices down on several occasions! Should I choose a beach towel, bath bombs or learn how to twerk!? These were all questions I asked myself …
Eventually I chose the following items and I am happy to say that I made excellent choices.
Firstly, I choice six odd socks, which are rather lovely and a little bit quirky! Flamingos are pretty cool at the moment and these socks are fab quality, bright and cheerful. I think they would make an excellent gift for a student off to uni, as they wouldn’t have to worry about losing one of a pair! They are priced at £13.95. If food is more your thing you can also get odd socks in a donut design!
For this reason they are also an excellent choice for a busy mum of 4, who seems to have a washing machine which consumes socks on a daily basis – where do they all go!
My next choice was a cross body bird design bag from Nicky James. I adore this bag and it’s perfect for when I’m out and about child free! It’s just the right size to fit my purse, mobile phone and lip gloss. Definitely no space for wet wipes and random Beanie Boo that my daughter no longer wants to carry! I’ve used this bag a few times and have had lots of compliments. Well worth £22
Finally, I chose gourmet popcorn in strawberry cheesecake flavour – yum! No more words need to be said, they were delicious and priced at £3.95 they won’t break the bank.
I am really impressed with the quality of items I chose and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wicked Uncle to others.
Jennie Jordan from Rice Cakes And Raisins also reviewed the Big Kidz range, it’s always interesting to see other people’s choices.

*For the purpose of my honest review, I received a £40 voucher to spend on items from the big kidz range. All words and opinions are my own.
oh gosh that bag is gorgeous! Love that they’ve noticed there are big kids around!
Thanks for sharing this with us at #TriumphantTales. I hope to see you back next week!
does this mean that non-matching socks are “in” now? This would double the amount that I have to wear instantly! #triumphanttales
